Meet Dr. Alys Walter

I love seeing the transformation in my patients and the confidence they gain through treatment. A straight, healthy smile takes dedication, and watching the final results come together is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Why Orthodontics?

I truly believe life should be filled with deep belly laughs, kindness, and compassion. Orthodontics allows me to bring all of those things into my daily work. No matter the age of my patients, their comfort is my highest priority.

Dr. Ryan and I do everything we can to make sure they feel safe and supported—not just while they’re in the chair, but throughout their entire treatment journey.

Education & Experience

I was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania and attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where I received awards for outstanding student in implant dentistry and the Delta Dental Award for outstanding student.

After dental school, I completed my Master of Science in Orthodontics at Seton Hill Center for Orthodontics.

Outside of the Office

When I’m not in the office, I love cooking, traveling, and spending time with my husband, Dr. Ryan, and our two children, Kennedy and Brooks. We also have a frenchie named Macaron, who keeps us on our toes. And if you ever want to talk football, I’m always ready—Let’s Go Steelers!
